Seeds for Success

Cale Blehm, a student at Oklahoma State University, joins the AgVenture team for the summer. Johnston, Iowa – June 4, 2019 – AgVenture, Inc. welcomed Cale Blehm to the team in mid-May for a summer internship. Blehm will be working with Product and Technology Marketing Director Scott Hart and his team for the summer, developing agronomy training materials and taking care of AgVenture’s research plot in Johnston.

A native of Hennessey, Oklahoma, Blehm just wrapped up his sophomore year at Oklahoma State University, where he is studying Plant and Soil Science with an emphasis in Crop Production and Management. Blehm is actively involved in the Collegiate Cattlemen’s Association as well as a reporter for the Agronomy Club and a Student Success Leader for the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

In his spare time, Blehm enjoys water sports on the lake in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.

Blehm grew up on a farm in Northwest Oklahoma, where his family raises cattle, wheat, rye and soybeans.

Blehm is excited to be with AgVenture this summer and looks forward to expanding his knowledge of crops, agronomy and the seed industry.
