McKillip Seeds is pleased to announce our 75th year in business. Started in 1935, the business has grown and included 4 generations of extended family members. There have been lots of changes in the seed industry in those years. McKillip Seeds has strived to maintain our independence, offering cutting edge products, outstanding customer service, and a common goal of increasing our customers’ profitability.

McKillip Seeds joined forces with AgVenture in 2006 becoming part of the largest group of independently owned seed businesses in the industry. Recently, DuPont announced its acquisition of the parent company AgVenture, Inc. of Kentland, Indiana. This will provide long term access to the widest genetic base and deepest technology pipeline available today. This will provide tools and resources to help us continue to dramatically help our customers and increase your profitability. Adding DuPont as a partner gives us a broader look at genetics and traits, yet we will still be selecting the best locally tested and regionally adapted products. We will continue to access all of the major companies’ traits and genetics including Monsanto, Syngenta, Dow, and Greenleaf. Our purpose continues to be providing you with the most diverse products and valuable services for your farm.

AgVenture McKillip Seeds will enhance our customers’ ability to farm profitably by providing practical knowledge and resources that assist growers in exceeding their farming objectives and enhancing their lifestyle.
